3000 SERIES MODULAR WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT

ASA-JET 3000 series wastewater treatment plant is modular and pre-cast of concrete with steel reinforcement. They have a flexible and modulardesign, so modules can be added to increase the capacity of the treatment plant according to requirements. We Pre-manufacture 52 models or plant sizes fully modulated from 500 up to 1,000,000 gallons per day (from 1.7 M³/day, up to 3,800 M³/day).

Commercial ASA / JET Wastewater treatment plants use a biological treatment process of activated sludge in extended aeration mode, the same principle the majority of municipal wastewater treatment plants use in the world and whose effectiveness has been proven for years.

ASA-JET Wastewater treatment plants are based on six stages or processing units, as shown in the following diagram:

JET, American company founded in 1955, is a leading company in the treatment of wastewater in the United States, with a leading reputation for its quality, reliability and easy maintenance.

In the Aeration stage the wastewater, previously regulated, flows into the biological reactor where it mixes withactivated sludge or biomass. JET patented diffusers, located at the bottom of the tanks, bubble in large amounts of air for two purposes: to mix the bio-reactor content, and to dissolve oxygen for the aerobic microorganisms..

The contaminated water remains in this chamber during 24 hours.

The pollution in the wastewater and the dissolved oxygen, allow activated sludge bacteria to feed and grow, transforming wastewater into a clear, odorless liquid.

In the Settling-Clarification stage, the flow coming from the Bio-reactor remains completely still. The majority of the particles which are in suspension settle down and the remaining particles are removed using a Jet Surface Skimmer.

Bacteria are the workers of biological treatment and they require oxygen and polluting matter to feed themselves and to reproduce. It is a must for the efficiency of biological treatment, the adequate balance between polluting particles, the dissolved oxygen, and the presence of aerobic bacteria in the activated sludge.

This water, clear and odorless, and highly decontaminated, is the only effluent that leaves ASA/JET Treatment Plants and returns to the environment.
