ASA / JET, aware of innovations in biological treatment technology, has incorporated the innovative process of Fixed and Fluidized Biofilm into activated sludge reactors in order to substantially accelerate the oxidation of organic matter.

This process is the latest advancement in biological treatment technology, which combines excellent oxygen transfer with large attached-growth aerobic systems for the adhesion and growth of microorganisms. It employs our patented Biologically Accelerated Treatment process that supplies oxygen to microorganisms that are naturally found in wastewater. These microorganisms attach themselves to the submerged Jet BAT® Process Media, forming a “Biomass” ready to quickly and effectively treat wastewater.

The Biomass sticks, growing actively and generating a much greater concentration than those obtained in conventional suspended biomass reactors.

This process must achieve a highly oxygenated aerobic turbulent atmosphere to obtain a higher mass and oxygen transfer. The result is an accelerated reduction of organic pollutants.
